Dan Mitchell moved to the Joplin area in 1997 to serve at Christ’s Church of Oronogo. His wife of 20 years, Donna Mitchell, is a first grade teacher at Webster Elementary in Webb City and is an amazing and faithful wife, mother and friend. His kids Madison (19), Emilee (17), Claire (15) and Hunter (10) are all active in school activities and Church. Dan and Donna still call Christ’s Church of Oronogo their home Church. Dan is on the National Board of Directors for Bright Futures, President Elect for Daybreak Rotary, a member of the Joplin Chamber of Commerce and Founder of Bridge Ministries (a non-profit Youth Center in Joplin , founded in 1999).
After attending the University of Kansas for three years Daman moved to Joplin in 1996 to finish his education at Ozark Christian College and graduated in 1999. Daman started American Ramp Company in 1998 along with is friend Nathan Bemo and has been involved with commercial construction all over the world. Daman is married to Angie Schuber who is a wonderful wife and mother who has been blessed with the gift of hospitality. Angie earned a Bachelor of Nursing degree from MSSU and is currently the Director of Development at Haitian Christian Mission. Daman and Angie have four kids, Isabella (17), Asa (15), Addis (7), and Mia (7), are individually unique and each one cherished.
After growing up in Pittsburg, Kansas and graduating with both his Bachelors and MBA from Pittsburg State University, Joe returned to the Joplin area in 1999 to work at Leggett & Platt, Inc. Joe held several roles at Leggett’s corporate headquarters over nearly 17 years including Assistant Director of Mergers & Acquisitions and Director of Business Development for both the Residential Furnishings Segment and Automotive Group. His loving wife of 20 years, Danica Harris, also graduated with her Bachelors and Master’s degrees from Pitt State and most recently was Assistant Principal at Seneca Elementary. In 2005, Joe & Danica formed Harris Homes to provide quality and affordable single family rental homes to Joplin area families. Joe joined Schuber Mitchell Homes in 2015 with the merger of Harris Homes with Schuber Mitchell Homes. Joe, Danica and their four kids, Dylan (10), Delaney (8), Dempsey (6), and Dawsyn (3) are very active in both school and Church and call Christ’s Church of Oronogo their home Church.
