All warranty service requests must be submitted online. To submit a request, visit smh.ihmsweb.com and login using the username and password that was provided at your New Home Orientation. If you cannot locate the appropriate information, please call 417.626.7000 and a representative can provide you with your login.
Once a request is received via our online portal, our New Home Warranty Team will contact you as soon as possible to confirm your appointment. All appointments occur between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., Monday – Friday.
Based on the nature of the request, an inspection appointment may be necessary to determine if the repair is covered under the warranty or deemed a home maintenance item. For requests deemed home maintenance items, the New Home Warranty Specialist will offer information assistance only. Schuber Mitchell Homes does not offer routine home maintenance. However, if a service request is deemed a warranted item, one of our New Home Warranty Specialists or a SMH Trade Partner will tend to the repair as soon as possible.
