Choosing Your Lender
In an effort to save money and ensure world-class service for our home buyers, Schuber Mithell Homes has established a partnership with Flat Branch Mortgage, though our home buyers may select their own lender. Although we do not offer in-house financing, we are certain financing your home will be made easy through the efforts of these top-notch representatives at Flat Branch.
Select Your Floor Plan
No matter the size of home you’re looking for, our innovative product design team continually adds to our selection of layouts and front elevations to ensure that you’ll find one to fit your needs. We have over 25 Plan Families and over 60 different front elevations.
Once you’ve toured our communities, picked a floor plan and been approved by a lender a New Home Specialist will go through your purchase agreement, which includes details about the property and more.
You’ll have 2, two-hour meetings with our Design Consultant at our New Home Design Center. In these meeting, you’ll select and finalize interior and exterior options you have made for your home. This will include colors you have selected for items such as brick, granite, tile, etc.
On this day you will also meet your Experience Manager. Your Experience Manager will be your primary contact until you close on your home and will be able to answer any questions you may have about the construction of your home.
During this one-hour meeting, your Experience Manager will walk you through your home's frame and explain our state-of-the-art engineered framing system. The frame tour occurs approximately halfway through the construction process.
Set As your home nears completion, our closing specialist will contact you to set a closing date.
A final opportunity to review your home's features and warranties, the orientation occurs within one week of closing and is mandatory for all Schuber Mitchell home buyers. Your experience manager will also discuss things you should do to maintain your home after you move in.
It's time to approve and sign all closing documents, legally transferring ownership of the home to your name. Closing on your home will take around one hour. Once complete, you will receive the keys to your new home!
A member of our warranty team will be in contact with you after closing to proactively schedule your 30-Day Homeowner Appointment. You will also have an 11-Month Homeowner Appointment once you have been in the home for 11 months.
