Homes for Hope has been fighting global poverty since its founding in 1998 when it first invited builders to empower fellow entrepreneurs in developing countries through sustainable solutions to physical and spiritual poverty. As the concept—called microfinance—began to catch on, funds were needed to meet the growing demand in impoverished countries. The solution? The very first Home for Hope was built.
As our second Home for Hope build, we were excited to bring this philanthropic project to the thriving market of Northwest Arkansas. We started by choosing a lot in our popular Orchard Park community and a brand-new floor plan as our starting point. We then asked our gracious trade and vendor partners to jump on board and consider donating their time, talents and supplies to this world-changing project. Hand-in-hand with these partners, we began building a 2050KB Series | Dorothy decked out with some of our most prized options and finishes. 100% of the proceeds from this home will go directly to Homes for Hope, which will be turned into microloans that give entrepreneurs an opportunity to break the cycle of poverty.
