A float trip is a personal favorite of ours during the hottest parts of summer. Nothing's better than beating the heat by hanging with some friends, renting a raft or kayak and relaxing on the river! This activity is perfect for those located in both SWMO and NWA since both are close to multiple rivers. Check out Elk River for something close by, or if you're feeling more adventurous take a quick drive down to Buffalo River and be one of the many to "Float the Buffalo." The White River, Spring River and the Mulberry are other nearby options to check out if you just can't get enough!
2. A day trip to Silver Dollar City
If you're up for thrill, adventure and time travel, Silver Dollar City is the place for you. Here you can experience the 1880’s in all of its glory! Take your pick from riding roller coasters, cooling off with a water ride, eating a yummy funnel cake or watching a show performed by the SDC employees! This is a great option for those with littles - there are rides for all ages, plenty of air-conditioned snack stops along the way, and multiple family rooms with changing tables scattered throughout the park. 3. A camping trip in the Ozarks
If you're all about the outdoors, camping in the Ozarks is perfect for you. There are so many campsites to choose from, you can't go wrong with whichever one you pick!
