The 1700-FS and the 2000-2S both offer exciting new structural options such as a coffee bar, pocket office, and more - tailored to meet the needs of you and your family.

In this blog, we’re going to give you the inside scoop on everything you need to know about the brand new Schuber Mitchell floor plans. Who knows, you might even find your dream home!

The 1700-FS

If you've been following us for awhile, you're probably familiar with floor plans ending in -KI, -KP, -KB and even T! We typically name our floor plans after their defining characteristic - which is usually their beautiful kitchen! (Kitchen island, kitchen peninsula, kitchen back, and the T-bar island. Get it?!) But with the 1700-FS, we've decided to change things up a bit.

The "FS" stands for flex space, which we think is one of the most exciting parts of this beautiful new home! This opti on allows each buyer to choose a custom feature about their Schuber Mitchell home - a coffee bar, flex space, or pocket office. You pick!

Upon entry to the 1700FS, you will see two spacious bedrooms and a full bathroom, perfect for children and guests. On the other side, you will find a large laundry room, perfectly placed off the master suite. Continuing to the back of the home is an open concept living, dining, and kitchen area. In the opposite corner of the kitchen, you get to customize your home and choose your flex space option! Just off the living area is the master bedroom, a perfect oasis to relax in after a long day’s work. Entering the master bathroom, you will find his-and-her vanities and closets, great for those who want plenty of space. Moving out of the master suite and back into the living room area, you will find access to the covered patio, perfect for grilling and entertaining! If you’re a family that loves to host, the 1700-FS could be your dream home.

The 2000-2S

We changed it up naming this floor plan too: Introducing the 2000-2S, our very first two-story plan! This stately 2,000 square-foot home has the same luxurious amenities as our other classic floor plans, but now with a second story! Like the 1700-FS, this floor plan also has new structural options so you can choose the layout that best fits your family’s needs: a bright and cheery sunroom, grand master suite or covered back patio.

Entering the 2000-2S you will see a staircase that leads to the second level of the home. Going upstairs, you walk into a large living area with plenty of room for entertaining. Just off the living space are two bedrooms and a full bath. This is the ideal space for children or guests, giving them that great sense of privacy! When walking down the stairs, you have a pocket office to the side, great for those who work from home! Exiting the pocket office and continuing down the hallway is an open concept kitchen with a mega pantry tucked away in the corner. Located near the kitchen are a half bath, dining room and living area. Now you’ve made it to the back of the house - this is where those structural options that we talked about come into play! After you choose your favorite option, let’s check out the master bedroom. A large, open secluded master suite provides the ultimate space to relax and unwind, and attached to the master bedroom, the bathroom has his-and-her vanities, a soaker tub, and a large walk-in closet. The best part about the giant master closet? It connects right into the laundry room! How convenient is that? As you might’ve guessed, the 2000-2S has just about everything you could dream of!
