OUR 5 PHASE BUILD SYSTEM
Here at Schuber Mitchell, we value excellence in our practices and have developed streamlined processes to ensure our quality is always world-class. One of these processes is our 5-Phase Build System. In this system, our Trade Partners become experts in one segment of the build, perfecting their craft and retaining focus on the details. By honing in on 5 phases, our team excels and our quality stands out from other builders. Here's a breakdown of what you can expect in each phase:
Phase 1
Our Phase 1 builders oversee the preparation of the lot and concrete slab. As a buyer, you'll first see us dig footings and install plumbing. Then we'll install our rebar system, pour the footings, and finally pour the concrete slab which will be the foundation of your home.
Phase 2
Phase 2 builders will pick up from slab and oversee the framing of the home. In this phase, you'll be amazing at how quickly homes can be framed. Trusses will be lowered onto the home, electrical and plumbing will be run, and the HVAC system will be installed. Additionally, the ZIP system, roof, and shingles will be added to the home, completing this phase.
Phase 3
Phase 3 will focus on the exterior of the home, including all brick, vinyl, stone, and other accent materials. They also specialize in the soffit, facia, and guttering which comes included with all of our homes. Finally, Phase 3 will also prepare the yard.
Phase 4
While Phase 3 works on the exterior of your home, Phase 4 builders will be busy inside. This segment of the build will be responsible for drywall, mudding and taping, and texture. You'll see your interior start to take shape as the Phase 4 team installs your tile, cabinets and countertops -- a very exciting part of the build process!
Phase 5
This team gets to take your home to the finish line! They will paint each room and install final flooring. They are also responsible for the finishing touches such as appliances, plumbing fixtures, and light fixtures.
But wait... there's more!
After the 5 phases are complete, you'll see one more team come back through the home. This is our Detail Team and they are in charge of all of the nitty gritty details -- just like their name implies. They will make sure that your home is clean and ready to go for your closing day!
