Schuber Mitchell Homes is deeply committed to the health and well-being of our home buyers, especially during this difficult time. While this time of separation from our friends and community can feel somber, we believe social distancing is of the utmost importance to keep the ones we love safe.
Our team is closely monitoring communications from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) along with guidance from our local and federal government, and public health agencies. With the ongoing spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus) and the fast pace at which things are changing around us, we are continually adapting our operations and business.
Here are how things are temporarily changing at Schuber Mitchell Homes:
We are here for you, and excited at the opportunity to help you find a home! We are able to host in-person meetings that are in accordance with the CDC guidelines, and with proper sanitation measures in place. Virtual meetings are still an option, and our New Home Specialists are available to hold all meetings, as well as offer you a tour of available homes via video call.
We have increased the frequency at which we clean and sanitize model homes and open houses, and we ask if you are not feeling well or may have been exposed to the virus, that you stay home. We also invite you to check out our online resources such as the floor plan guide and video tours. We would love to answer any questions you may have, or schedule an appointment at 866.799.7891.
Our home buying process will carry on, but in an adapted, healthy environment. You have the option to hold all pre-construction meetings, framing dedications and new home orientations via Microsoft Teams, or in-person while following the CDC's guidelines for social distancing. Our experience specialists will continue to pray over your homes, even if we can't meet in-person. You can request temporary access to your home in order to write scripture or words of encouragement on your home's frame, and your experience specialist will unlock the front door for you to do so. Our team will communicate these changes with you, and will share the appropriate links to ensure that you still get the full Schuber Mitchell experience during your home's build.
Meeting your service needs is important to us. If you do happen to have an emergency situation arise, please call our emergency service phone number at 866-543-1529. Anything aside from major leaks, heat and air issues, or major plumbing problems are not considered an emergency and will be taken care of as soon as possible, with proper distancing and sanitation practices. With homeowner's permission, service team members will enter your home for service appointments wearing safety masks and gloves and keep an appropriate social distance.
Thank you for your continued patience and trust in Schuber Mitchell Homes. We are proud to continue to grow communities, while supporting efforts to lessen the spread of COVID-19. This difficult season will pass, and through it all Schuber Mitchell Homes is here to care for you in whatever way we can.
